i fukked up with the OG Wii version. I bought Last Story instead, which was a dope game, but when I finished that Xenoblades price went from 35 dollars to double that

I dont wanna pay 70 and up for an old ass game but its tempting if its really that good

I played Xenoblade on my modded Wii. I played the PAL version. I still have an unopened copy of the game because I liked it so much I bought it day one. Still have an unopened copy of The Last Story too. Xenoblade is worth $70 easily.

Nintendo had zero interest in putting out that game anywhere but Japan. Gamestop stepped in and said they would print and sell it in North America. That's after Nintendo's European branch decided Europe should get the game (which is why it has all those British accents in the voice work because NoE localized it). Gamestop does a small print run and surprise the game sells out they they start raping people on the used prices. I'm talking like $90 or so for used copies. They've even been accused of printing more copies and selling them used at those high prices.

The only good thing that came out of all of that is Nintendo noticing that people outside of Japan do play JRPGs then deciding to bring over Bravely Default when Square Enix basically borrowed Nintendo's Xenoblade attitude and didn't wanna localize it. That and then day one when Xenoblade X was announced they let it be known it would come out in places other than Japan without hesitation.

Nah, but yeah, fukk Nintendo. I have a Wii but I gotta pay 70 dollars for a game in struggle definition. Well theres the 3DS one right? I have a 3DS. Except its the OG 3DS XL that doesnt play this game.
