you must've been going through hell in the last few chapters there's like 4 level 68 juggernauts right before you even get to the boss

My combo chain attack game was on fleek

That was the most fun part to me. You get 5 orbs a burst and the right chain attack with you know who and time it right you can punch way out of your weight class.

Is it better to let the special get up to 4 before using them?

Like if I built it up to 4 does that mean I can then use them all in succession?

1 2 3 etc....

Or do I have to use 1 then build up to 2 and then 3?

Certain characters can do combos with just each other with level 4 if they are both in play at the same time without spoilers there's kinda more you can do with level 4 special too. It's more like an automatic thing than a combo you attempt though.

However generally you don't need to unless it's all you got.

Really you want a level 1, then a level 2, then a level 3.

However as long as the next element you need is at least the level you want you can still use it.

Meaning if you need level 2 water element but they are at level 3 already you can still trigger them as the second stage of the combo. If that makes sense.

Chapter 7 is where it started to get a little challenging. Nothing crazy but I actually had to think about my blade setup, and pick the right aux for them etc

The enemies jump up to level 50-55 and it's honestly best to just run past them given the circumstances which I won't spoil

There's also a pretty subtle but strong progression 'wall' around that point too.

The game will generally guide you to areas that are grindable through general exploration and a steady stream of sidequests up to level 55 or so. But between 55 and 70 you're pretty much locked into the story if you want to progress at the same reasonable speed.

How do you guys like Morag as a party member? I just hit chapter 5 and her starting blade is a tank which is weird since she doesn't have the HP needed to be a proper tank character. I wanted to use her in the last boss fight of chapter 4 but she sucked at keeping heat off of Nia and Rex so I stuck with Tora's annoying ass.

Some of these side quests based around Field Skills are kinda bullshyt tho

One of them is a side quest for a rare blade that requires Lvl 7 Botany... I'm stuck at 6 and need to RNG with common cores... Ugh

What's dumb is that it's a fairly low level quest around Lvl 40 or so, I'm Lvl 60... How did they expect people to do this? Lol

I used 4th party member from the second I got them till the end of the game.

Anyway, I just beat a unique monster that had 30 levels on me
