Morag doesn't really shine unless you throw those agility boost items on her.

Then she just basically never gets hit lol. Tora has some abilities and items you can get from TigerTiger that give you teamheals each time he gets hit - which can almost negate the need for a dedicated healer altogether. Best thing about Tora though is that he can hit mix HP with no added accessories. That's huge.

Morag just has to be built up. Some agility boosts, auto attack stacking items to keep her specials going along with aggro boosts, and she ain't moving. Also, when you're doing chain attacks... Tora is straight up gimped because Morag can use 3 blades. That's a lot of options.

Rex was raised by a black woman :wow: she carrying that whole village with nothing but love and a kitchen :lawd: even titans got respect for ma dukes
Did you beat the game already?

Yeah just beat it.

I've been checking out some of the impressions on the story and ending on other sites and I'm kinda surprised about some of the things that people hated on. This game had a lot of similarities to Xenosaga throughout more than XB1 did imo.

I loved the whole game didn't get the hate either. So what there's some anime tropes in there. Why you playing JRPGs if you don't like that. Nier is animed the fukk out and people loved it.

I loved the game. I only asked if you beat it cause of
You mentioning morag and I thought bout how you have to fight her at the end there. For some reason she was harder to me than any of the other little character dream fights, she even took more tries than the last boss for me :mjlol:

One of the biggest things that bothered me about the ending's reception - End Game Spoilers:
People are mad that Pyra/Mythra came back at the end. That it 'cheapened' the ending or something. 1 - They thought they were gonna die. That's all that mattered. 2 - If they actually died it would've ruined two entire character arcs Rex going through all this shyt at the end and then having her die doesn't even make sense after Addam, Jin, and even Morag telling him that he can't do it all himself. Zeke telling him to let it go and man up, realizing that's actually the hard part is the entire point of that scene. On top of that, Pyra/Mythra still dying after meeting Klaus and doing a 180 is stupid too.

Its just the weirdest thing to get mad over.

Also, I think people are dumb because Jin is actually a complicated, deeply conflicted person who - by chance - happened to be pulled out of the gutter by the 2nd most fukked up individual in the world. He makes sense. Torna makes sense. Amalthus makes sense. Even Nia getting shyt on makes sense lol.

short version, ppl don't know what they want except that they want to be mad :yeshrug:

Regarding those fights .... lol
The one that did me in was Zeke/Tora. I straight up couldn't hit Tora because I had their block rating above 65% :dead: I almost died because Zeke was damn near one shotting me with each special. I had dude's Strength through the roof and he could cancel everything. I'll be honest and admit I got lucky killing Zeke. Tora I just happened to beat only because I had Herald equipped my chance. The one time he didn't block a full special was when Herald was cranked :ahh:

One more thing....
When Rex was losing it, grabbed Poppi, and said "She's right there!" while his voice was cracking I was full :mjcry: for Poppi. These VAs were on point.

The thing with XB1 was that game wasn't originally planned to be a Xeno game. Xenoblade Chronicles was originally named "Monado: Beginning of the World" until very late in development, probably too late to be adding stuff to tie it into the larger Xeno series. So, there are reasons for a lack of Xeno tie-ins in that game.

Yeah. I just remember a lot of people drawing connections and outright stretching things to make Xenoblade 1 make sense. 2 is pretty upfront about a lot of it.

Holy shyt I'm still on chapter 4. I was talking to a bunch of Nopon over and over again until I realized the Affinity level wasn't even unlocked. I had to go through the whole work shift going fukking HAM in the fields taking out decent leveled beasts to get that that shyt unlocked quick. I'm in the abandon factory now and I'm chasing the dudes, and I have one question, do I need to break the boxes with super strength and fortitude? Because some dude locked the huge door, and I'm just straight up lost on some Ocarina of Time water temple shyt. The worst mistake I made in this game was just having fun getting rare blades and not working on the affinity chart. :mjcry: everybody just on level one and shyt for everything.

Also the interior exploration of this game is far better than Chronicles X from what I remember. There was only one good interior in that game, and it was pretty much close to the end of the game.

Yeah I got lost at that part too lol. You need to beat that Tirkin bird ass in the control tower to open the door. No field skills needed

XCX's interiors were god awful but thank god you almost never went inside anything until the last few chapters.

Game in crack stages. I'm nailing some major combos, and bursts. I saw an orb and hit the chain attack. I finally beat chapter 4. I'm in Rex's home area and those flying beasts are the frigging worst. Fighting them in a narrow area, and they all seem to have beasts all around them just ready to support them.

I also just unlocked rare blade Dahlia :deadrose:

Current squad.
