its ridiculous how good this game is
Try to figure out whatever ability of his is killing you then see if you can find a special combo between your characters that ends with sealing it. Don't forget to chain attack too when you got 3 full bars and try to end on what he's weak too.Son of a bytch
5 times. 5 goddamn times I tried to fight the same unique beast and every single time I would be beating on him for what seemed like forever when another monster would show up to ruin everything and this is with me trying as hard as possible to clear the area of other monsters. One would still find their way in to the battle and that was it. I'll get him tomorrow
man i just now realized that those bars weren't JUST for revives these x games might be the last shyt out that requires a guide at releaseTry to figure out whatever ability of his is killing you then see if you can find a special combo between your characters that ends with sealing it. naw its cool. these tutorials aren't exactly gating or restricting abilities like thatIDK how far you are the game might not have told you yet, it told me like 10-11 hours in, sorry if i spoiled a mechanic.
Damn I'm 27 way into chapter 4naw its cool. these tutorials aren't exactly gating or restricting abilities like that
i'm way overleveled i think anyways. level 20 and i just finished chapter 2.
i probably need to just push through the story a bit more and just understand exactly where i'm supposed to be
(i'm low key traumatized from xenoblade chronicles x so i refuse to let these big ass unique monsters punk me all game long again )
sidequests get that affinity up and the xp is fat some are kinda long though. you'll run into some stranded fukkboy under a tree and next thing you know you're taking 4 trips to the city and killing random birds or somethingDamn I'm 27 way into chapter 4
I'm gonna get some side-questing on. I've been so engrossed in the story I keep jumping to the next main mission.

Pyra don't even have the biggest titties in the game
I'm heated cause I was fighting a unique beast for like 10 minutes, and then I died cause another strong enemy saw us and jumped in.
Glad to hear they're updating the map. I remember clicking in the left stick for the first time and being like
- if you watch the “Something in Common” (Chapter One: Encounters) cutscene in the Event Theatre, then return to the game, a glitch will make the camera sway and it will stay like that until you restart the game. If you happen to save, then you will be stuck in swaying camera hell. Therefore, if you happen to watch the cutscene, make sure not to save, and restart the game instead (even if that means losing progress);
- if you get the quest item Healing Herb for one of the quests in the Gormott Province at 12:00, then it will not be added to the Quest Log (basically preventing you from completing the quest);
- if you get the quest item Pure White Helmet for one of the quests in the Gormott Province at 7:00, then it will not be added to the Quest Log (basically preventing you from completing the quest);
- various other bugs
- Easy Mode will be added to the Tiger! Tiger! mini-game
- pressing the X button will immediately bring you to the map of the area you’re currently in, on the Skip Travel screen;
- improvements will be made to the mini-map overlay (by pressing the L stick), improving the visibility of your surroundings;
- various performance improvements.
x series is notorious for that shytYou have to really be careful where you pick fights at. I learned this in the first Xenoblade where they will throw lv99 monsters in the same damn area as normal leveled monsters. I walk around big areas type shook because lord knows what's behind that rock or tree.
Update coming Dec. 21

That shyt is way too zoomed in. Also like not having to go to the menu for skip travel.
