I couldn’t use my Super Nintendo controller on the 64 and I was totally fine with that.

I prefer it this way. you have the option to buy the battery pack with cable or use rechargeable double As. its a nightmare trying to replace a built in battery for a controller.

Most Xbox controllers don’t last more than a year. Meanwhile my day 1 PS4 controller still working like butter, battery working just fine and everything

I got a rechargeable pack swap in swap out .
When I’m playing my ps4 and gotta charge it essentially becomes a wired one when it’s blinking
