Not really. If the average consumer walks into best buy and one has a camera and one doesn't then that $100 difference is easily explainable. Whether its worth it to him is a different story.

And I think word of mouth is very important and will work in the favor of Xbox. When word starts getting around about the snap/TV/entertainment features. And when they see people controlling their living room like James Bond as Sly put it. Xbox is gonna be a must have device, people like spending money on cool looking shyt, even if it is solving a problem that doesn't exist. And controlling your living room with your voice and a swipe of your hand is the epitome of cool. Not to mention TitanFall and Halo will be getting a lot of attention.

You and I both know that preorders and these forum arguments don't effect the average consumer, which is what we are talking about.

If you can swing it for a $400 system a $500 system is in the same financial ballpark

Yeah, cuz the Xbox isn't superior from a system standpoint. I love how sony took away the ability to use the PS4 for anything other than games.
