The Xbox One S is ok. Backwards compatibility, 4k blu ray player, recognises .mkv as a codec meaning ripped movies.

The minuses are it is slow. With the PS4, I can jump from app to app pretty quickly. On the Xbox it is much a stop and start approach. It's loud compared to the PS4.

Also with the Xbox One S, some 4k apps aren't out eg YouTube. Which is a shame because it supports 4k hdr. Some of the 360 games run a little more worse or have input lag. Bayonetta is a little bit annoying to play because of this. But I appreciate that I can play my 360 games without screen tearing or paying again for games I already own.

One more thing some gaming updates are massive. Gears of War 4 added 90gbs to my console before I could even press start
