What does a camera have to do with Google Now? I wake up, it tells me how long it will take to get to work or a location I've been recently. If I get on my computer and type "Giant Eagle, Southside" now my phone is directing me to Giant Eagle. I never told my phone where I worked, but it knows where I work. If you think that this "24 hour surveillance" is the first of its kind, you're the fool. You're being watched every time you move. You think all these satellites are just up there chillin, providing you with satellite tv??

i mean if you don't care about a foreign device listening and recording everything around you, then it isn't a big deal. to people like me that want as much privacy as possible, this is a scary tool. i figure two things will eventually happen. recorded information by kinect will be used by the government or it'll be compromised by hackers. but say i'm just overly paranoid, kinect will still be used to help microsoft sell you targeted products.

I respect Google Now for it so obvious that your every move is tracked. I'm not no conspiracy theory type of dude, but I'm almost sure our privacy was being invaded when we had flip phones....... It just wasn't in our face so nobody was worried about it

i have google now. Gps can be disabled. google thinks my route to the lake last week is my work place cause i fish a lot. if i were to smoke some bud in my living room, google now would never know. nor would google now and my phone knows how many people is in the room smoking bud and watching movies with me. i can put a tape over my laptop camera and it would not see shyt. if i put a tape over the kinect 2, my movie or games would stop playing because it detects my heat signature, heartbeat, and eyes. if i want to look for the store because i need condoms, my phone would not know unless i search for it. Kinect 2 would know since i was with my girl on the couch and we were about to get down then i was like ohhh we need condoms..
