Platinum would be a cheap grab probably, but not super profitable. Astral Chain is considered one of their best games in recent memory and it only did like a mil in sales.

Sega's trending downwards so Sega with a budget would be cool but they obviously don't have the creative vision to right their own ship, I don't think M$ is that creative vision either. Acquiring Sega would only make sense if whoever's in charge right now decides to step down.

I'm not a huge fan of 3rd party acquisitions, but I hope someone steps in a saves P* from themselves. TW101 had zero buzz after that Kickstarter ended and betting the house on Kamiya IP or mobile games is not going to end well for them.

I’m not really a fan of platinum but i can’t see it happening after what went down with scalebound. They had a really difficult time working with M$

I’m only worried if it’s Capcom or Altus.
