Can't afford $5 a month, go and enjoy netflix on your laptop :manny:
You're making excuses for them. If Microsoft would make those apps & features available to silver members, I'd seriously consider getting the next gen Xbox. But if not, I'm sticking with Sony again. I'm not paying extra for stuff that should be free.

Thanks for the info...

And when it comes to the arcade/phone/PC stuff, I guess that will be cool...right now I don't have either of those things...but I guess that once I do, I might appreciate it a hell of a lot more.

I didn't like the current dashboard when it was first introduced...but once I started using "My Pins" (which is very similar to their Windows Phone stuff [gf had a Windows Phone]), it was pretty damn slick.

I just get a little worried when it seems like they focus more on multimedia and less on games...there's still plenty of room for improvement. Then again, with how slick the setup is now, no need to fix something that's not broken.

honestly, they need some shyt like universal clan system where we can have clan rankings across all our multiplayer games available to us. let the clan go up to like 12 members same size as future party chats or some shyt :noah:. I would also like to see a place where we can pawn our digital purchases like phil spencer talked about when he was asked about used games last e3. there are a ton of things they can do, i bet imma be like :ohhh:.

Hmm. Why would you have sold your Xbox breh? Looks like you're saying you enjoy PS3's games more than the 360 but the online infrastructure is holding you back :mjpls2:

:troll:

:deadrose:, well i dont do nothing but play 3rd party games nowadays outside of halo 4 and gears and forza horizon. 3rd parties carried this gen pretty much on both sides.

That reminds me, they BETTER increase the damn friends list limit (only 100, after all this time, is a travesty), and let you pick and choose which types of notifications pop up...

I'd imagine they'd have to increase it significantly if they want to implement skype

Are you serious? Have you been paying attention to what MS has been promoting the past 2 years? Last year's E3 focused mainly on these apps.

And I'm actually someone who actually uses these apps much more than I play games on the console now.

ESPN and NBA League Pass is the only reason my Xbox gets turned on.

What MS promotes and how I use my XBox is not related:stop:

For real though, unless you don't have cable, why would you use your XBox for League Pass or ESPN? Unless ESPN is not part of your Cable package and you're trying to skirt paying that extra money to include espn in your cable package. ESPN is part of a bigger sports package that you'll be missing out though and you won't get the same HD feed through your XBOX as you do through your cable provider. It's an extra few $ a month which is worth it if you're a sports fan.

There are some pretty dumb mufukkaz out there... The point is that free apps like Hulu and Netflix shouldn't be behind the gold firewall

Sent from my GNex Sucka!

Like I explained in another post, there are reasons why you gotta pay for XBox Live.

which is one of the reasons why they probably used DDR3 vs GDDR5 since the former is more system ram vs graphics card ram. The "rumored' 3 gigs of the 8 going to the OS also makes sense if they are using a skype type setup.

I haven't played halo 4 since Feb. 27th. That's a damn shame. If I legitimately want to turn it on, I have to fork over some cash. If I want to play Uncharted 3, BF3 or any PS3 game I have online, I NEVER have to worry. there's no peace of mind with Xbox.

I don't have cable, and I eat off of these apps for my sports breh.

I basically get ESPN for free after they updated it with UVerse (my parents log in :lolbron:)

I copped the Broadband only League Pass before the season started with the sole purpose of using the app on the Xbox in mind. It took them more than half of the year to get the shyt to work consistently, but it's cool now. That ESPN app is the GOAT though.

I own a couple of HD-DVDs that might never get Blu-ray releases & so I might consider buying my first Xbox 360 ( a used 4 GB version), just for the sake of having a cheap Full 1080p HD-DVD player.

But real talk, is an Xbox 360 worth owning as a console if you're not willing to pay for Xbox Live?
