I think Xbox doesn't need all of that extra stuff. Most gamers were already pissed at MS throwing all that shyt on XBL trying to justify the price hike. Most gamers don't care about the Kinect shyt they trying to push either. Smartglass is cool but that shyt will take a backseat to gamers just picking up their controller and playing. All MS needs to do is keep preaching how XBL is so great and thats all they need.
Not to mention...why they asking Kojima about Xbox
Your post is basically retarded. First off, whats your gamertag?
/thread
2nd. Gamers are pissed at all the extra features that keep getting added
3rd, a price hike? When they that happen? Its easier than ever to find cards for $35, or you can be silver and they'll offer you a month a 1buck.
At first they offer a month for $5 I think, they it'll be $2, then $1
Thats if your too cheap or broke to get a card any other way. You act like you don't get more than what your paying for :rudy? That could of been argued 6yrs ago, but not today
4th Kinect is doing better than ever, and games are JUST starting to make real use of it. Feel free to hate from a distance. Smartglass is awesome
And finally, Kijoma wanted to move MGS4 to xbox but sony paid out the ass to keep it. The rest of his games are now heading to xbox, so he can comment on xbox all he wants...
Multiplats will be a wash so the determining factor for me will be exclusives so that's why I will be copping that quatro
Yeah, cuz ps3 exclusives were sooooo popular this gen. What ps3 game are you waiting on besides Uncharted 4 (and you never was much of a uncharted player anyway so
)
So the most fun you had this gen isn't going up against your friends in either real life or your e-friends from here/
You never had an xbox, so you don't know what its like. Thats why you appear so ghat damn stupid all the time with your replies
Because the content from DLCs is created after the game has been manufactured. And if its on the disc at ship date then its clearly not DLC which is created to extend the shelf life of a game. Even if you can, you dont release DLC right away, its supplemental. Several games take up a whole Bluray disc.
I dont like to nitpick about specs because im way more into results and, as you say, reality. And in reality, i could simply say "Uncharted 3" with a troll face. Or God of War, Killzone, MGS4 or any number of exclusive titles that curbstomp graphically on top 360 titles. Yes the GPU is somewhat more powerful than the ps3 but it really comes down to architecture. The 512mb unit is unified for the cpu and graphics in the xbox and 256mb each dedicated for sony but is over 4x faster at 3.2ghz vs 360s 700mhz. And even though the GPU is dedicated in the ps3 at 256, the more powerful Cell chip reads and writes graphic ram at about 50% speed (which is still twice as fast as 360 even at half speed) by using the flexIO from the Cell XDR to the RSX GPU. So even though their philosophy is dedicated GPU plus superior CPU >>>>> 360s unified unit, the Cell still pulls a "just in case" move to make sure by sharing the load with the XDR and RSX. The problem is that the process is a huge pain in the ass to developers vs the 360 which is why multiplatform games look better on 360. Because they design the games for 360 and then just port them to ps3 as opposed to redesigning the game to fit Sony's architecture which of course means the games never take advantage of the system fully. Exclusives however, aren't ports. And by not being ported but designed for ps3, look amazing by comparison to 360 exclusives. Not by a canyon of margin but definitely noticeable.
I dont like getting into tech crap like that because im not a "techie" im a gamer. All i care about is the game, not the technolgy it uses to present itself. But my original comment suggests that I don't care how it comes about, better gpu/worse gpu or whatever, the overall total processing power when maximized, is stronger than 360. That being said, I'm not a big graphics guy. They both look great, its splitting hairs, but I'm all about gameplay. If I cared so much about gfx, I'd get it on PC. All the games I have for both systems are exclusives so I don't particularly care to compare because its all about story and gameplay breh. IMO at least. You seem knowledgeable on this so I'll take you as a smart guy(if not a bit of an ass about it but
).
I'm sure you can come up with figures to support your point and tank mine but my point still the same. Wrickety janky wooden coaster or new steel rollercoaster, we get on for the ride it gives us, not the way it gave it to us. Its all good though breh, its just opinions.
Well here's the thing. You not a techie as you put it so you only know what a fanboy says. Or if a company lies, you can't tell they lying.
I'm not a techie either, but I am a gamer. Not all gamers are the same.
I came up in the age of Magazines, not internet. We read
Now that the internet is here, you can get all the inside scoops I used to have to wait til EGM's Quarterman would drop the knowledge
Once the internet came out, I basically became Quarterman. Enjoying finding out every little nugget of info. Thats sorta my thing.
Now you, your knowledge is based on what was told to you from peers n shyt
I can see this because you mentioned MGS4 like if that game was some graphical powerhouse
No, playstation fanboys acted like it was and would say shyt like it couldn't be done on xbox
And here you are repeating that today even tho the average game looks better
Kojima said it could be done. It was also later understood that most of that game's space on disc was for 7.1 audio and 1080p video.
Actual game took up very little space. Uncharted 2 was only 4.5gb total in size, the rest was 1080p cutscenes and 7.1 audio
Halo 4 is considered one of if not the best looking game this gen. So if you wanna go into which system is better? Well, overall the xbox is better for developers. They can get more out of it, easier. The top games on ps3 look as good as they do because of the amount of money and years it took to make them. Killzone 2 took like 6yrs and over 100million to make
The game then didn't sell well. They lost big money off that franchise. And the fans didn't like it that much either. But you talk about it like its this great thing, like gamers talk about that game in a bright light filled with fond memories
All this talk about ports.. its because the ps3 is not well made, not because developers were lazy or cheap. No, cuz it sucked to make games on it
The ps2 had this issue as well
The developers from all over the world agreed, and moved there titles to xbox
Now cry about it having better looking ports, make up any unknowledgeable excuse you want, cuz you only repeating some shyt a nikka like King Sun would say. But back up your comments. Provide a single link to anything I'm challenging you on. You couldn't do that, because its not true...
