How are they going to sell 76 million xbox 720's with always on internet? Who are they going to sell it to with PS4, right there as a more powerful system that allows used games and can be played offline. You xbots need a firmware update.

720 isn't going to sell as well as the previous console. That's pretty much a guarantee if they fix the RROD issue. If you're holding them to that number then you might as well give them the L now.
From what I've read it seems like PS4 is going to be the better console(for consumers and developers) but I just don't think the always online issue will be as big of a deal as some are making it out to be.

it'll sell out of course, but they about to pull a 2006 Sony for real. word of mouth is already spreading fast with internet much more accessible than it was 7 years ago. At least with the PS3, you know you had to pay for that bluray player/drive. The suits at MS done fell and bumped their heads. 3rd console curse is real in the field.

I think there's some truth to the curse. They one up'd Sony last time so apparently they think they can take a small hit and still be fine.
Well we've never seen an always online console so we'll have to wait and see.

The always online thing is a bad PR move for sure. But I have internet, so it really wouldn't be that big of a deal.

I think the idea of a company FORCING you to have a product connected to the internet in order to work kind of sucks.
