Looks like it is PC next gen for me.
I don't care for most exclusives anyway, and if I really wanted to care for Halo or Gears they eventually hit PC anyway.
Would rather save some money for the next year or two, buy a beast pc and be good to go for 3-4 years and upgrade when needed.

I was considering getting a Xbox 720 so I can have the option to play some older multi-platform games from the current gen & last gen since the PS4 won't have BC.

I guarantee you that Xbox could have always online and still be a success. Yea its fukked up that they're cutting off some of their consumers but if someone doesnt have the internet issue then I dont see why they would have a problem.
How are they going to sell 76 million xbox 720's with always on internet? Who are they going to sell it to with PS4, right there as a more powerful system that allows used games and can be played offline. You xbots need a firmware update.

it'll sell out of course, but they about to pull a 2006 Sony for real. word of mouth is already spreading fast with internet much more accessible than it was 7 years ago. At least with the PS3, you know you had to pay for that bluray player/drive. The suits at MS done fell and bumped their heads. 3rd console curse is real in the field.
