But it's all opinion really. If you think Logan is better than these that's fine. :yeshrug:

You just listed my top 4 MCU films minus GOTG.

I love BP but the CGI will age like milk.

CW too long. First act drags

Cool. Logans' action could have been more compelling (specifically a better more original adversary and choreography) and the kids using their powers in the end was rushed and poorly done compared to the rest of the FX in the movie.
But Logan really pointed the way to go for a franchise whose source material has a lot of characters. Anthology the mutant universe, don't even waste time with explaining what came before or what comes next. I loved that about this movie.

I'm just gonna ignore the bottom blasphemous part of your statement but why can't they exist in the same timeline as avengers like the defenders do? They could easily connect it to GOTG, kree and just do the Shiar empire and Phoenix saga. Spiderman didn't do an origins movie neither.

GOTG were in space, far away from earth and the avengers. Spider man and the defenders all got their powers by accident It makes sense that they could easily slip into the MCU and not have anything change much. The same way the fantastic 4 could. It's different with the X-men,in the comics mutants have been around 100's of years. They've established all the way back in Iron Man 2 that SHIELD realized some shyt was going down in a guarded African country and in the middle of the ocean. Bringing in the X-Men means that they were too incompetent to detect mutants with special abilities that could pose a threat to national security right under their noses this whole time.

Plus how do you even begin to explain where they've been the past 10 years. Professor X and Cyclopes just chilling at the X mansion watching Ultron and Loki destroy the world knowing full well they could stop them but decide not too :heh:

How about an update? Make Charles and Magneto's origins modern. Make Magneto a refugee of like some Middle Eastern conflict (how about they make him Palestinian instead of Jewish and a victim of Israeli persecution). And cast the OG X-Men as teenagers. And then follow the comic timeline of characters just in modern times from there. :ohhh:

Morlocks and Sinister story ark and the addition of Gambit, the government sending out sentinels to prevent them from being a threat to the avengers (Avengers vs X Men story ark). The internal battle between Eric and Xavier vs societies standards on mutants. They could even discriminate so heavily against mutants because of what Thanos did. The Civil War storyline where Iron man sent out Iron Patriots to protect the world because the government felt that Caps team would do more harm than good. There's so many ways this can go. The whole infinity war saga could leave the world in panic mode to how they treat the X Men who have a history.

One way I would go is that a secret government section was capturing and killing mutants during the avengers saga til Professor X found them.

They could be two clandestine factions at war that, because of an incident, get forced into the light.

The precedent for that was set in the late 1610 (Ultimate) Universe, back in the early 00s.

Nick Fury had BEEN hip to their bullshyt, as usual per nick fury. That could be one part of the explanation as to his absence. LMAO Don't think a movie studio that's been planing to gain an IP hasn't already woven a narrative to fold it into continuity. De Black Penta been active since the 90's and we didn't need precedent until recent years, and that worked. Not owning the IP at present doesn't reduce the ability to do that...
