I've been a fan of comic movies since Reeve as Superman.

No I am not 50 or even close.

I like DC, Marvel , Image and other comic titles equally.

The X-Men and FF Fox material has been good at best and horrific at worst anyone actually thinking this movie is going to be even remotely enjoyable or good is absolutely high than a motherfukka.

These fools botched Apocalypse 2 years ago and you're telling me that this movie is actually going to be enjoyable from the same exact people!?!?

By all accounts the early reviews have been absolutely abysmal the actors seem like they're sleepwalking through the roles and the numerous reshoots and lack of good buzz about this film means this bad boy is DOA

I said it before and I'll say it again fans like you are the reason why they make bullshyt ass movies like these cause you suck up everything they make instead of being critical and hope they make better films

But all you fukking dikkheads keep thinking is somebody is a goddamn Disney Stan.

Real Marvel fans can admit Iron Man 2 Iron Man 3 Thor 2 Age of Ultron were all trash.

Fox has had over 18 fukking years to get X-Men right. They've constantly put out subpar shyt, not listening to the fans, not following the source material, and basically running a cash grab instead of making a cohesive and entertaining movie universe.

X-Men writes itself. There's MAD story lines that could be used, a damn near infinite amount of mutants, and a bunch of mid teir and huge villains that either never saw the light of day or was grossly misused. All of that and Fox has the audacity to repeat Dark Phoenix? fukk outta here.

It fukking took a Deadpool movie to get a Colossus vs. Juggernaut fight? Say what you want about Age of Ultron, at least they gave the fans a good damn Hulk vs. Hulkbuster fight. One thing I can say is that Disney/Marvel actually care what the fans want and listen instead of treating them like idiots.

It's simple, Fox made bullshyt movies for decades because they could. Then Disney came and showed that you can make great movies if you let the creatives do their thing, stick to the sources, and listen to the fans. Fox never did that and just took it for granted that they could just throw some shyt on the screen, title it X-Men, and people would come to see it. fukk that. No more.

That's what I've been trying to say since the entire conversation started these nikkas don't realize that these muthafukkas have had damn near 2 decades to get the source material right and couldn't do it the majority of the time those days are over they had the chance

It's pretty simple Fox never took any risks with the movie series we have to remember back in that time the only really competing series at the time was Spider-Man on Sony and the Warner Brothers Batman series so they kind of recycled the same movie over and over again.

As a result people thought the movies were better than what they thought they were and then once the Disney Marvel series took over the X-Men series look very stale and boring in comparison the lack of focus on other characters and not expanding upon their deep roster of characters was ultimately their undoing. And the audience rebelled.

The tipping point was the FF reboot disaster and Apocalypse. A shame too. Had a lot of talent in both.

No one is hating no one found joy that these movies didn't deliver the way they were supposed to it was actually pretty painful to sit back and watch it happen to such iconic characters. I know it sucked for me as a fan.

The movies only seemed good because there was no contrasting series to measure it against. Iron Man 1 is better than every Fox Marvel flick and came out 8 years after Fox had a head start.

It's painfully obvious the people they had for FF and X-Men simply didn't have the passion for the Feige did.

To be fair...alotta of the Disney/ Marvel movies are mediocre as fukk....it really becomes apparent off frequent rewatches....they really amount to dope set/action pieces strung together by flimsy borderline stupid plots

D.C. seems to not understand there characters and as much as I enjoyed the batman begins series Nolan cant direct action scenes for shyt...all they have to do is make live action versions of stories from their animated universe and they can literally print money....

Dopest comic book movies were blade and blade 2 cause they were giving free reign and it was rated R....

These new movies are meant to promote cartoons and toy/costume sales for impressionable kids....like when George Lucas created the ewoks for return of the jedi
