i wasnt watching wrestling at the time. i gave up in like 98 until 2009. last game i owned was Warzone i think.
i used to play the fukk out of it for Playstation and loved it..but now i look back and its like why the fukk would they think a wrestling game would work with MK controls? shyt was so difficult just to do the most simple shyt.me and my brother was loyal wwf soldiers and we played the shyt out of both titles.
we told each other both games were hot
i still remember getting powdered donuts and picking up my nephew with my fresh attitude strategy guide
"nah, we have to mash all these buttons do a finisher, it means we earned it"
From Wiki:
A sequel to WWF No Mercy was in the early stages of development when it was shelved in early 2001 as Nintendo began to phase out the Nintendo 64 console.
A sequel to Electronic Arts' WCW Mayhem titled WCW 2000 and later, WCW Mayhem 2 was going to be developed by AKI and was planned for a PlayStation 2 release. There were even some screenshots in Issue #33 (May 2000) of the Official PlayStation Magazine. However, it was also shelved in 2001 after Vince McMahon bought World Championship Wrestling. The engine of this game would later be recycled for Def Jam Vendetta.
