nitro was for playstation. N64 had world tour.

i copped nitro in the spring. game was nice, btw.

Yes World Tour was the American version of Virtual Pro.

But then even PSX had WCW vs the World which was similar to World Tour.

I remember as a kid figuring out how to get weapons from the crowd, shyt was dangerous. Better yet, the first time I did a finisher in World Tour :ohlawd:.

I got attitude for my birthday that year and I remember waiting forever for it to come out. Its one of the only games that i remember having house shows and it had create a arena mode which sadly still has more customizable options the WWE 11.

Why no love for Power Move Pro Wrestling though yeah the game had original characters but to me it was smoothest wrestling engine on PSX until SD 1 came out.

WWF Warzone - British Bulldog Clips - YouTube

At least memorise your fukking lines Davey Boy instead of reading them off the cue cards :pachaha:

Son did not give a fukk :laff:

man i forgot how mechanical attitude was. But if u had a psx, u waited all summer for that shyt to drop. It was THE game until smack down came through and crushed shyt.

Still remember being amazed @ all the character entrances and what not.

-DMP-

I was thirsty as fukk for Warzone that Summer. Readin' every bit of they had in GamePro, analyzin' screenshots. Callin' J&R every other day to see if they finally got it in. I enjoyed it a lot, but the fukkin' movesets lookin' back were horrible. Mortal Kombat type inputs to do a scoop slam and shyt :what:

I had a modded PSX and CD burner by the time Attitude dropped, so it only cost me $1 to rent and a blank disk :shaq:

Attitude got way more burn. shyt had a variety of modes and customization options.

Those FMV in Warzone were jokes though :deadrose:

I was glad when Smackdown dropped later on. Stopped thinkin' about not havin' a N64 after that :ahh:

i didnt know that about virtual pro.:ohhh:

yea, i had wcw vs the world. i was the only person i knew that was up on that game. they just threw that game out there, but it was CLASSIC. why did they give that engine to N64 and take it away from PS1?

i mean, dont get it twisted, nitro was my joint and it prolly had the best graphics of any ps1 wrestling game. but im saying tho, could you imagine nitro's graphics with the wcw vs the world/world tour/revenge engine? CRAZY.

Me and my boy used to sit in my basement listening to Hot Boys "Guerilla Warfare" on my karaoke machine playing Attitude for hours on end.

:ahh: 9th-10th grade. hot boys, ruff ryders, TRU, man all that chit went hand-in-hand with attitude, knockout kings, madden, etc.

you had a karaoke machine too? i had the joint with that 1 boomin @$$ speaker. mine was a half-broken hand-me-down but dudes was basically recording albums on that thing. turned my basement into a studio.:pachaha:

Still got my copy of it breh. They were the OGs of that GOAT wrestlin' run in the US from AKI. I stayed playin' that game back day. You could make your own belts and tournaments too. My dudes off top were Eddie Guerrero, Benoit, Flair, Sting, Overdose (Hawk), Bad Blood (Great Muta), Ultimo Dragon, Regal :lawd:

Damn shame we never got a sequel on PS1 though :snoop:

C/S Nitro's graphics. The gameplay was trash lookin' back, but they looked mad real.

yea, i mostly played with sting, benoit & ultimo dragon on "wcw vs the world".

nitro had that hard-hitting feel to it. i'd even go as far as to say that:
NITRO >>> WAR ZONE

"WCW Vs the World" :wow: ...memories. I used the same 3 guys too, Hayabusa too (if memory serves me correct) but mostly Benoit & Sting. Remember how you could fukk someone over so bad that they'd get crippled or their shyt would "break" from a submission?

No Mercy >>>> All.

I remember I hate Warzone and I tripped when my boy got Attitude. I was :dwillhuh: :leon: at the roster...but I always loved the AKI engine over everything else outside of Smackdown! (I only played "Here Comes The Pain").

Warzone's roster was awful. 16 wrestlers (18 if you count Cactus Jack and Dude Love, as if anyone would), and the unlockables were mostly made-up no-names.

Attitude came out like a year later and its roster was twice as big. And that ain't even including the unlockables!
