Def Attitude. Up until Smackdown 2/No Mercy it had the best CAW ever. Original entrance music made specifically for CAWs was dope. Attitude had better voice overs, actual entrances, Inferno Matches and a dope Royal Rumble mode.

I think the only thing Warzone had over Attitude is that it had better secrets but it was overall really barebones.

The original plans for Attitude (which were scrapped for no reason) would have been dope. Facing off against jobbers until you reach the main show in career mode being one of them.

attitude was like war zone on steroids.
for the people who werent able to play wcw revenge & wcw world tour like that because they didnt have nintendo 64s, attitude was the best wrestling game ever for us. it was the 1st game where we were allowed to create our own virtual wrestling world. and then its escalated when you play it with the homies.
i fondly remember mad heads stacked up in one room playing pay-per view mode. and when we had less than 9 heads, we could do that tournament mode.
real talk, attitude & knockout kings ruled the summer of '99 video game scene in my hood. chit was serious, slime.
Remember doing the same like it was yesterday, I got told that it was something to do with Owen Harts death why they delayed it, I think they had to take him out the game. I can't remember how many times they delayed it I think I nearly cried at one point.

man. i was good with the delays. i ended up in summer school AND on punishment because of it, thru most of the summer.

attitude literally dropped right on time for me. it dropped right after all that chit was over with. i lived those last 4 weeks of summer up like a muthasucka. and i had my lil gwap too so i was splurging like a champ.
without those delays, i wouldnt have fully experienced the initial impact of this game.

WWF AttitudeWho remembers reading every bit of information that would come out about the game.* And the wait for it was torture.* It was slated to come out in May but was pushed back to August.* Yeah looking back the game may of sucked but I had fun playing it and it had an awesome roster.* And who wasn't hyped to have real entrances ?
attitude is what jump-started my game-pro subscription. i remember going to babbages or whatever game store it was after school. my bul bought the jawn with the rock on the cover. i think he had on his warm-up suit, giving somebody the rock bottom. then i looked thru the mag while we were on the bus. i cant remember if i went out and bought my own copy or if the homie gave me the magazine a week or 2 later. all i know is i had a subscription by the end of the summer. and i kept it going for at least 4 years.
History isn't too kind when it come to Attitude but majority of people loved it when it came out and most of the magazines gave it good reviews but everyone hates it now lol.

yea. that game was historical. i never understood the revisionist hate. but i do realize that it burnt out quick. smackdown came out just 6 or 7 months later, and i couldnt even bring myself to play attitude after that. i copped the 1st ecw game because it was ecw finally getting a joint. but at the end of the day, it was just a more hardcore version of attitude. once the lure of the ecw characters and additionally violence wore off, i traded the game in.

Attitude just because it didn't take forever to finish a match, the health bar on warzone was torture. Attitude gets props for the create a wrestler and create an arena. Is it true that if you used a multitap on Warzone that Vader would appear on the roster?

man i forgot how mechanical attitude was. But if u had a psx, u waited all summer for that shyt to drop. It was THE game until smack down came through and crushed shyt.

Still remember being amazed @ all the character entrances and what not.

Attitude by far. I too remember copping the GamePro magazines. When I saw the screenshots for the season mode I was intrigued. The whole calendar type season mode had potential.

I remember copping the game off of the strength of that commercial. I actually beat the whole season mode using no cheats with D-Lo Brown. By the end of the season mode I had a combination which could beat someone under 2 minutes with him.

I just remember going to Survivor Series in the game and being so amped for that tag match :whoo:.

nah. nitro was mad old. thunder was the wcw game that was out for ps1.

do remember, wcw put out completely different games for ps1 & n64.

That is true.

WCW/NWO Revenge, Thunder and Nitro for the PC all came out late 98. I remember because I got Revenge & Nitro for Christmas.

The original Nitro for n64 came out a bit before I believe.

Attitude was my shyt, although I always felt like Warzone played smoother. I always hated on the WCW games cause any ol body could do a finiaher with one button but on Attitude you had to remember a near novel and be a master for that shyt.

I had both on N64, used to get mad playing Warzone on PSX and hearing them authentic entrances.
