The question now is what the hell are they gonna do with the rest of the guys that were in the match. Bryan will probably move onto something with the Bludgeon Brothers, but New Day, Miz, and Joe are all just in the air right now.

I see that but the bad stuff was a small part of the Attitude Era. Most of those guys you mentioned were on TV for maybe 5 minutes a week. The promos and matches still focused on Rock, Austin, DX, Foley, Kane and Taker.
I think some people also romanticize the Attitude Era because they were too young or they flipped back and forth whenever a shytty segment was on.
It's hard calling 98 and 99 bad when those two years are the peak of people watching wrestling if you combine Nitro and RAW's ratings.

Small thing happened that solidified Rusev as a face, when swerved the handshake and AJ punched him, Rusev didn't attack AJ, if he was heel he would've done that.
I think what could happen is that English begins to annoy Rusev, English costs Rusev the match at Extreme Rules and that leads to Rusev vs English at SummerSlam.

He already has Ws against D-Bry and Joe in the last month or so. He should keep racking up Ws though, no doubt about it.
I can't fukking wait for his match with AJ. You know Styles is dying for a legit MOTYC after the Nakamura feud was never quite able to get there, and Rusev is gonna be game to put on a big performance

Nope. Rock just didn't have a problem putting anybody over like Austin did. Him throwing out the "romanticizing of Attitude" is just silly.
