I had heard Bruce Pritchard say on his podcast that the office had given up on Cena. I didn't know he had been told he was going to cut. Makes you wonder how many other potential superstars got cut simply because they gave up on them too quick.

I also wish they named names on who was going to Big Show telling him no to let Cena beat him. I'm sure we all have our guesses on who'd try to play politics trying to keep down an up and coming threat.

That spinner belt hung around for longer than it had any right to :mjlol:

That embarrassing eyesore of a belt lasted for NINE years...NINE?? The first time Cena last that title it should’ve went away.
You know I actually associate HHH more with Ruthless Aggression than Attitude Era

It’s cause during Attitude, he was probably the 5th or 6th most important wrestler. In RA, his Reign Of Terror made him the forefront of it.

Ehh, it really should've been dropped after his year long reign in 07, it actually didn't look bad on Edge and kinda tied into the storyline with the Rated R spinner.

You know it's kind of weird they jumped right into Cena since he didn't really become the top guy until 2005, so there are 3 years of shyt they just skipped over that were pretty important. Things like:

Smackdown Six
Brock
Big Evil
HHH/Evolution
The wave of big name WCW guys coming in in late 2002-early 2003

Especially as a lot of them were important factors in Cena's rise. It's not like Cena was holding shyt down at the start of the RA era. I know WWE rarely does their docs 100% accurate chronological order but in this case there were definitely more important things to cover before Cena popped off if you're covering that whole era. Maybe they'll give a definitive time frame as well because to me it ends after Benoit, but for some it runs all the way until they changed back to PG, but they were showing clips from up to 2012 in both episodes sooo

I hope they do an Elimination Chamber episode, seeing as it was birthed in that era and was a frequently used match in the RA era
Nope. Again it's clear WWE spin to not bring up the negative effect HHH had on the internet wrestling community and all the backlash against his reign of terror. They're going to paint it as if it was great TV.

Episode 1 – It’s Time To Shake Things Up
Available Sunday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. ET
As The Monday Night War comes to a close, WWE reckons with the challenges that arise from its acquisition of WCW and the departure of established Superstars like “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and The Rock, as well as makes the bold decision to split its roster between two brands.

Episode 2 – Enter John Cena
Available Monday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. ET
A new, if polarizing, Superstar emerges in the form of John Cena. After enjoying initial success, Cena struggles to find himself as a performer and realizes he’s on on the brink of being fired — that is, until his adoption of new persona launches him to new heights.

Episode 3 – Evolution
Available Monday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. ET
No faction ruled the Ruthless Aggression Era more than Evolution, the dominant union of Triple H, “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, Randy Orton and Batista. Find out what brought the four legends together and, for the first time ever, learn about the obstacles that threatened to derail Evolution from the start.

Episode 4 – The Next Big Thing
Available Monday, March 2 at 10 a.m. ET
Follow Brock Lesnar’s meteoric rise in WWE and get the full story behind his controversial and headline-making decision to abruptly leave in 2004 — at arguably the pinnacle of his young career — to pursue endeavors outside sports-entertainment.

Episode 5 – Civil War: Raw vs. SmackDown
Available Monday, March 9 at 10 a.m. ET
Go in depth on WWE’s groundbreaking decision to split its roster between two brands, Raw and SmackDown, from the myriad behind-the-scenes challenges, to the intense competition that erupted between the brands and their Superstars.

I'm offended he called the Undisputed Championship a bland boring title :wow:

The chronology is so wrong :damn:

Should be: Ep 1, Ep 5, Ep 4, Ep 2, Ep 3

This is the binge era everything has to be in order

Yeah I was thrown off by them showing Cena so early as he didn't really take over until a few years in to the Ruthless Aggression era. The fact that the Smackdown Six doesn't have its own episode is pretty ridiculous too as that became a huge deal especially online.

Also the mid-late RA era with the Matt/Edge feud, Cena/Edge feud, ECW revival, and Taker/Batista feud

It seems like they're just focusing on 2002-2005.

Which means the SHOULD be showing the SD6 as they made up probably a full year and a half between 02 and early 04, and it’s a shame they’re bypassing that
