hopefully this report is bullshyt, but it this is true..
they could use one of them old PPV's like that and hype it up on some nostalgia shyt but starcade wasn't their idea so fukk that show, is how they feel
Thirty-four years of building something special that has grown in to a week long, Super Bowl-like event and they want to try and do two per year?
WrestleMania week/weekend has been amazing for the last decade or so (once they got out of tiny arenas and went back to big stadium shows). Not just amazing for the fan experience, but also for the city involved with tax revenue.
That last part could be the problem. The revenue. Like a filthy, greedy, obese slob licking their plate clean .... it's never enough. If another country offers the right deal, then why not sell out everything you built and made special over the last 34 years to do multiple "WrestleMania's" every year?
I'm saying tho, why not just make summerslam a wrestlmania type event? they could just host a summerslam overseas, why does their have to be two? oh wait money is the only thing that matters..
I don't know why but all these new deals and special shows they are doing is rubbing me the wrong way for some reason.. maybe its time I stop paying attention to the behind the scene stuff and just watch the show when I feel like it
True lol glad I no longer watch on a regular basis mostly just Mania and the Rumble these days lol and a few special events or when people come back here and there.
They are oversaturating and that makes things even less interesting. The allure and build up of Wrestlemania being the "superbowl" of wrestling is a big big part of what has kept WWE alive all these years

I understand Vince getting that paper but from a creative aspect, they can only book a good WrestleMania worth watching like every 3-4 yrs. Talking about adding another WM like event... Yikes!

Instead of a "second Wrestlemania," why not just do a big international PPV every year?
Survivor Series doesn't have much going for it at present beyond the tired "brand supremacy" gimmick. Why not make that its thing? Every year, Survivor Series happens in a different country. It would be at the end of the year so you got plenty of time to work out the logistics, and GRR already showed you don't need to worry about when to air it since it's all going on the Network anyway.

What you see, is what you get
It's been like this with WWE for YEARS now and Vince just doesn't get it because he's more concerned w/the $$$ than the wrestling part of WWE. After so many years they finally cut down on the number of PPV's from 15-16 a year back to 12 because a lot of them were ass. Tbh, at this point WWE really just need about a good 7-8 PPVs along w/2-3 network specials (make the network specials have value).
Now that Smackdown/NXT is going over to FOX/FS1 there was a report saying WWE might bring back SNME as well. I hope not. Too many shows that nobody watch already as is... 205 Live, Main Event, RAW (I see a lot of ppl complain about or don't watch).
So will the Road To Wrestlemania, Jr. consist of sand?
