WWE Evolution 10.28.18 [All Women's PPV] Thread: Final Card Updated

Once they got past the opening tag and battle royal, it was a pretty good show. The top four matches delivered, but more importantly all delivered completely different styles. Tori/Io was a joshi sprint with head drops and apron bumps, Shayna/Kairi was a psychology heavy match with call backs to their previous matches, Charlotte/Becky was a stunt show, and Ronda/Nikki was full blown sports entertainment. The 6 man tag was also surprisingly a lot of fun and not the filler Raw match I expected.

Kind of wild to me that Papa H did get all the NXT women in the battle royal.

wish they had the women come out like the royal rumble..them all trying to brawl at once shows how weak their offense looks

My only real gripes for the show were the opening tag match, beginning of the battle royal, and that awful curtain call with Becky and Ronda clinking belts.

on one hand i get them not having Charlotte/Becky as the main event...have the crowd leaving happy.

BUT this is one of those times when that should've been ignored seeing how long they've been building to this and it was the match with the bigger stakes

Breaking kayfabe would be if Becky and Charlotte were standing out there together laughing it up. The women's roster standing out there together in celebration of their event is not breaking kayfabe. This is no different than MMA media days or post show pressers where people literally trying to beat each other unconscious are next to each other being professionals. UWF was a shoot style promotion and started every show with the entire roster in the ring or at ringside. Or the full roster Super J Cup photo ops after the finals. Or or or.
