I got a second look at most of these matches, and I have to question anybody that shrugged their shoulders and said it was underwhelming or regular. It pretty much kept all the BS to a minimum, had a great crowd throughout the entire night, matches got enough time to build but not enough to drag and tune out, and it was overall a very enjoyable show. Storm/Io, She Corbin/Sane, Ronda/Nikki, and Becky/Charlotte were all different types of matches that were more than solid in various ways, and both tag matches while pretty traditional, they had action throughout. Outside of the table not originally breaking for Charlotte, Nikki nearly getting dumped on her head, and Sasha’s tribute to Brie, the botches were minimal.

Breaking kayfabe would be if Becky and Charlotte were standing out there together laughing it up. The women's roster standing out there together in celebration of their event is not breaking kayfabe. This is no different than MMA media days or post show pressers where people literally trying to beat each other unconscious are next to each other being professionals. UWF was a shoot style promotion and started every show with the entire roster in the ring or at ringside. Or the full roster Super J Cup photo ops after the finals. Or or or.

They're not "turning heel" after triple threat title matches in MMA.

They're not wearing disguises in the front row and jumping over the rails when the other wrestler is giving fans high fives in MMA.

They're not beating ppl up at their photoshoots then standing over them with their foot on their opponent while holding their belt overhead and screaming for the photographer to take that picture in MMA

Were Conor and Khabib hugging 3 weeks ago during the lead up/match/aftermath of UFC229? NO!

Because what Becky and Charlotte portray in the ring is what Conor and Khabib are doing in REAL LIFE. THEY HATE EACH OTHER.

If it's just wrestlers w/ no storyline standing next to each other after they "fight" then cool...but you got Riot Squad out there cheesing next to Bayley and Sasha. You got Charlotte standing feet away from Becky after a fukking LWS match. These are storylines. It just feels goofy to me.

And it's bad in general. But they seem to do this shyt more with the women. It just makes it harder to take them seriously.

How often do you guys think they should do these womens only PPVs?

Once a year? Twice? Monthly? :ohhh:

Or just everytime WWE does a show in a country where the girls can't perform?

I'm down for 2 - 3 times a year. They can definitely pull that off now. A bit too early for more than that, imo.

Every single MMA "feud" ends with the guys hugging or shaking hands and talking about how much money they just made.

I'm saying. Conor was getting the brakes beat off him and homie was copping pleas talking about "It's just business."

Some of y'all in here need to be honest and admit it only bothers you because it was the women. Because y'all really in here acting like you don't understand what those photographs were for (social media branding, video packages) or that 90% of the people in the company haven't been thrown kayfabe in the bushes.

Unless it's a blood feud where people are trying to kill each other or hurt each other's families, stuff like the curtain call is fine. Pro fighters do press conferences and are in the same place without fighting all the time. It's understood that the organization will discipline them for fighting before the actual match.

Becky/Charlotte taking photos backstage before the match is too far imo. There's refraining from fighting in a group photo op after a match while not standing next to each other, and smiling together standing right next to each other backstage. The first one can fit with kayfabe, the second can't.

Nah...twitter and YouTube situations should be attacked if it's time to magically nitpick what is credible.
