Honestly they should of just chilled and put the show on in late summer or early fall. They should of used May, June and a couple of weeks in July to introduce their fans to NJPW and some of the key talent. From there AEW sends some Their guys over for G-1 and they take a segment and cover their progression each week. Finally have something lead to start an issue between the feds. Then introduce the forbidden door show.

I think Tony wanted to sell out the united center again which is cool but I feel he could of made the first show bigger by building NJPW up for the causal fan base.

Every fan has to start somewhere. Whether this is the first event for some fans or they are already established. Every single show doesn't have a video package of each wrestler with their bio and history. They gonna be wrestling, not cutting a promo or storytelling. Some of the wrestlers have already been exposed to US audiences in the past. Just so happens that some are focused on watching one company only that they don't know or care much about the other companies. You can't just go on hearsay and things like that. People can say Okada is one of the best in the world, but you gotta watch the show tonight to see it for yourself. Hearing someone speak about it or watching intro videos isn't the same as an actual match. Plus not like Okada name hasn't been ringing bells for years. Those that been with AEW since the beginning know he was even at All In a few years back. It's all about catching fans interest somewhere. I remember my boy telling me some years back that he had downloaded Wrestle Kingdom. It was the last one with AJ vs Nakamaru right before they left to WWE. Okada and Tanahashi fought on that card I believe. I didn't know anything about any wrestler, but still enjoyed the event. Then I started watching WK more frequently as well as other NJPW shows like Dominion, the new years event after WK, G1, NJ cup and other random big ppvs. I didn't have any clue on who the wrestlers were or the history of the promotion but I started somewhere and just started randomly learning about it. Shoot, even now somethings happen and I may not know about it like some title changes, since I don't watch every single program, but just have an idea of who some of the wrestlers are and their style. Gotta keep an open mind with these things. Nobody tuned into WWF for the very first time as a child and immediately knew who everyone was. You might like some of the unfamiliar wrestlers, all, or none. Everyone has their preferences. And everyone has to form their own opinion. I can't tell everyone that ZSJ is one of if not the best technical wrestler in the world, cuz not everyone may agree. Some may enjoy the show, some may not. But until you see the wrestlers compete, you'll never know. Everyone welcome to do research on any wrestler that they're interested on as well.

Can't keep me outta your thoughts, huh? Wanting my attention when I ain't even give you my number. :scust:

Not even gonna bother with your childish reply back because you get off when people on the internet give you attention because you ain't got no real people in your life to give you the time of day. You need a permaban to evaluate your life and contribute to the world instead of checking receipts at Walmart. Angry dap this post, loser ass weirdo. :hhh:
