So you don’t think it’s better than 2019?

I feel like the gameplay, graphics and my rise mode is better than 2019 and the only drawback is they removed custom entrances. To me this game is more of a 7.5 and if they improve the gm mode and give us a some different match types next year it could be an 8.

I would rank it higher if some of these new modes were more fully realized. It now relies on the previous modes that already existed, Universe, Showcase, Career, and those are exact copy pastes of 2K19, 20, 18, etc.. 2K19 was the best optimization of the same game over and over so it still the king to me.

There is certainly way more potential now than ever, and they probably put out their best 2K game yet next year.

The only gripe I really have is the gameplay is still the same to me, the combos look nice, but it's not completely rebuilt mechanics like I swore they hyped. I'm really interested in how the AEW game will play, as it's meant to be more arcadey.

Still haven't even touched gm mode

Nearly not as many bugs in universe compared to 2k20, but some are still present

Not surprising, The response has been the complete opposite of 2k20.

The main difference this year is defense is actually important, the combo breakers are nice but is complete luck based. As for the AEW game, You can basically expect a HCTP ripoff since all signs point to that being the case. It's going to be Acclaim/ECW all over again.
