Yeah this looks like it's moving slightly towards the arcadish side, not my cup of tea. 2k19 was the best at creating a TV style simulation feel.

Oh god, ppl have bytched about this forever, claiming they want a more fast paced-arcade style wrestling game. basically htcp & no mercy for YEARS.

I can't even call 2K14 a THQ game. They died and lost the license two months after WWE '13 came out (they had to re-release '13 under 2K)

But the work on 2K14 was done by THQ before they went out of business.

I know if 2K can give us a nWo edition, 3 versions of Undertaker, & probably a Rey Mysterio showcase/attire they can damn well give use a Bret Hart edition of WWE 2K at some point.

A full Bret Hart career showcase would be amazing. Starting in Stampede all the way to Survivor Series 97'. The fact that Owen will be in the AEW game is one strike against it. Vince called Bret the most credible WWF champion of all time in his A&E bio last year. He need his flowers to this new generation.

Can't do a proper Bret Hart edition without Owen. Owen played a huge role in Bret's career in 1994 and 1997.

No Mercy is far from arcade. WWE Battleground, All stars and Legends of Wrestlemania are arcade. Those games IMO are shytty2k22 looks good, just said the gameplay looks slightly more arcadish than the previous few games. For instance it looks like they took out stamina and fatigue, so it's basically rock em sock em until you win. Again not necessarily a bad thing, but not my cup of tea.
