Expect 2k to put any effort into this title . They couldn’t even bother to include a showcase mode the last two years. It’s been 4-5 years since anything substantial about the game was different from the previous year. The only real change is an effort to monetize it further.

The only good thing about a DB showcase is that we get an old school Cena and the velocity arena. Outside of that who the fukk thought DB should be the first wrestler to bring back the showcase mode?

Madden 19 is actually very good this year, and this game could be great if they clean up the ridiculous glitches 2k18 had. Honestly I see NBA 2k19 taking the WOAT title this year, because I don't think they've changed a damn thing with that game. Madden finally has a running game which has been missing since the PS2 days and that has made it much better. I'm expecting VC to not make any changes to the universe mode so I'm hoping the gameplay mechanics are tighter. But all I've seen from the NBA 2k19 game is just another paste and copy game that hasn't been truly great since 2k11.

I don't like them doing a game every year either. We're basically paying for a roster update and a new Wrestlemania arena, the updated graphics just look like they made the white wrestlers even more tan. The only thing I use these games for is making Caws and the new movesets are good for those. It's just instead of making a game every year they could just sell roster updates and move packages. I can't imagine how much worse this 2k stuff is for fans of sports.
