Ugh. Their doing this NXT shyt again. I realize its popular but I don't need guys who haven't even debuted taking away spots that could be for legends.



I suppose it could be real but it looks fake to me. The background is the exact same from 15. I can't see ECW having a big enough role in a game to get its own section on the roster. I doubt there will be 2 NXT Divas in the game. There's usually only 7 or 8 Divas so maybe we could see one NXT Diva but even that would surprise me.



It really doesn't. Big Evil Undertaker uses the Last Ride where as 90's Undertaker doesn't, 2003 Brock doesn't use the Kimura Lock, etc. Big Evil Undertaker with current Undertaker's entrance would be stupid. And if their alternate attires it means you can't have Undertaker vs Undertaker.


Exactly. You could easily make that on the default angle and then turn it sideways when your done. Very basic photoshop.

Legends don't need to hog up all the spots either, thats what DLC is for.

Daniel Bryan, Alberto Del Rio and CM Punk having two spots in 15 was a waste since they were exactly the same. Having different spots for different Hogans and Undertakers is not a waste. Wrestling fans care about the small details. 2K would get a lot of shyt if Hollywood Hogan came out to Real American.

2K14 had a fair balance of Legends and Current Wrestlers. There wasn't really any relevant current wrestlers missing and we still got 30+ legends. I don't know why the current fans say this Legends should be DLC bullshyt. Legends fans aren't interested in current WWE. We shouldn't have to pay $80 to get the wrestlers we want when the current fans have to pay only $60. No way you can tell me Finn Balor should make a game before Hulk Hogan.

Hulk Hogan doesn't have to be in every game, Hogan as a baby face in the 90s and his return to the WWE is the exact same. Same taunts, same moves, same music, yet they'll be in different slots.

Undertaker pretty much uses the last ride as a signature move, so is that entrance and music worth the extra slot when it can go to another guy on the roster or a legend who's never been in the game?

And Yes Finn Balor deserves a spot in the game since his popularity is on the rise.

80's Hogan and 2003 Hogan are going to have completely different ratings though. Plus there's just the simple fact that some people like playing Hogan vs Hogan. What people don't understand is, if all three Hogans are going to be in the game as alternate attires, making them separate slots doesn't take a slot away from another legend or current wrestler. So Hollywood Hogan being in the game might take a slot away from say Sid being in the game. But Hollywood Hogan being a separate slot from regular Hogan rather than alternate attire wouldn't take away a slot from anyone because no matter whether he's a full slot or an alternate attire Hollywood Hogan was still picked over Sid.

Current fans are a lot more likely to be fans of legends than legends fans are to be fans of current guys. I'm not saying they should miss out on current roster members. NXT is not the current roster. I can't think of a single relevant current roster member who didn't make the default on disc 2K14 or 2K15 rosters. There's no reason we can't have 30-40 on disc legends like we did in 13 and 14. That was ideal and thats what they should try to achieve.

Legends fans aren't interested in a current WWE game without legends. Current fans are automatically going to be interested in the game. That doesn't mean they'll buy the game no matter what, but their a lot more likely to buy the game than legends fans are. That means you have to put a lot of legends in and old school arenas to get the legends fans. Catering to Legends fans makes the most business sense since 2K already has a large percentage of current fans eating out of the palm of their hands. I'm not saying there's no room for NXT wrestlers, but to announce a NXT guy out of the first six guys announced is crazy to me. If they had announced a legend today they could have built a lot of hype among the general gaming community as opposed to announcing Finn Balor which isn't going to generate much hype outside of a few forums. I guess its better than when they announced Hogan at e3 last year only to take him out to sell him as DLC though.

But most of people who buy the game are fans of the legends, i probably wouldn't buy the games if all they had was the current roster. I've noticed i use the legends & retro wrestlers more than the current guys. And a legitimate roster updates, why can't they do this? They are very active on NBA 2k

I can already see us getting screwed out of having Samoa Joe in the game based on past history, hope I'm wrong... But they should be able to put new wrestlers in the dlc, instead they plan their dlc out and we get people like Adam rose in February

I don't necessarily think everybody from NXT should be in the game...

Should be Samoa Joe, Owens, breeze, Balor, hideo, Enzo, cass, corbin, zayn, rhyno... Who am I forgetting? Also Charlotte, Sasha, Becky, Bailey

What ruined the game for me was them
Not updating the shield members sure the CAWs looked cool but only being able to use generic themes, call names and shyt

Literally the three new center pieces of the company and they couldn't update their shyt via dlc or even in time for release? Shield broke up in what June? The game came out in November.

This was the worst CAW they had since SD2. They limited a lot of the match types.
