The series hasn't been all that bad though, I think a lot of the complaints are from people who just want to bytch about something. The only truly awful one was 08I can't stand that nikkas voice, dude is incapable of saying anything bad about the series as well
, but aside from that the games have been either acceptable or great. WWE 12 was okay but the internet glitch really killed it's rating for me, if the internet went out all the data from dlc to caws became corrupt and i had about 50 wcw and wwf caws. WWE 13 was the shyt because it was basically a re-release of WWF Attitude(minus some stars), and 2k14(5 stars) was the game i wish made it to next gen consoles.

This game is officially in the bushes for me. I tried to get my own Universe Mode started up but it's lacking too much in creative features. 20 CAW slots, no create-an-arena/belt/entrance etc. I just don't understand why this is all missing?

Every game leaves things out when they switch to newer consoles and i give them credit for the things they did right, but if you think this is bad you must not remember Madden 06 when it debuted on the PS2 & 360. 2K16 looks to bring back the stuff they took out but since neither system can rip music then adding custom themes will be out again.
It would never happen but they could focus on tag teams of yesteryear. That's the one thing I can think of that they haven't yet done.

There's plenty they haven't done yet. Hogan Era, WCW, WCW vs WWF, Ruthless Aggression, Attitude Era 99-2001, ECW, they could even do a New Generation (mid 90s) game. I'd like to see more legendary teams but I don't know if I'd want a whole story focused on them.
WCW vs WWE without Hogan, Goldberg, Sting, etc is pointless. I don't think anyone played WWE 12 and was satisfied with that as a WCW vs WWF game.
Do they not own the rights to nWo? They had nWo as DLC in 2K14 and had them at Wrestlemania 31 so I don't think it would be a problem.
THQ went out of business. Last couple games were made by 2K and Yukes. It's pretty much the same game as WWE 12 still, especially on the "last gen" systems.

Because thq turned the series into the madden of wrestling, same shyt just different roster. At least 2k is trying new things and the new features actually make the matches better, they just need to bring back the missing options and season mode.
