You really think we should treat Haslem like that because he chose to sacrifice for us, breh?

I get that it's a business but I like how our organization has always prided loyalty given for loyalty received. This probably why I'd be a bad GM

Treat him like what? We've got to fill out the roster and can't give a multi year million dollar deal to a guy who is a vet minimum player

Why has there gotta be so many bad general managers that ruin the market for the good ones? Not that there should be a cap in the first place

UD might have to walk then. This is a business, should've took the dough in your prime. And I say that for a player whose jersey is going to be in the rafters regardless
After what Pat said in the exit interview about giving UD whatever he wants i cant blame UD for trying to get some extra money and years maybe. With how the heat organization value loyalty i can't see Pat going back on all the thing he said and telling UD:camby:

Exactly.

I don't think dudes realize exactly how little money we got and how much roster space we have.

And I'm not really that impressed with Weber yet. Richardson and Winslow looked like men among boys in Summer League play while Weber is still struggling to score. I like his attitude but he doesn't really look like a quality PG for a team with playoff aspirations. He can handle the rock but dude barely looks on the level of rookie Norris Cole.

Haslem, Wade, backup Center, backup SF, and a backup PF for insurance due to Bosh.

We gonna look as disjointed as when we had Granger, Shawne Williams, and Ennis lmao
Its going to be an interested season to say the least
We have to hope Wade can be the player he was this season will he be able to play 74 games again
Hope Bosh can even play
Hope that Gawdside offense game improves and he learns to pass out of double teams
Hope that Winslow, Richardson & Weber can take giant leaps
Hope Dragic can be the All NBA player he was with the Suns
Hope that Spo can create an offense that brings out the best in are players
While the east has all gotten significant better

If/When we resign Wade and UD we still have i think 6 spots open
We could be looking at Wright coming back maybe
But there no reason Green & Stat can't get Ennis and Hamilton type deals from decent teams
Plus Stat was already not happy with his role at the end of the season and showed he still has alil left in the tank.

honestly the biggest factor for next season is wether or not hassan takes that next step into super stardom. adds about 10 lbs and expands his post game. in the nba, ANYTHING is possible when you have a dominant center and an elite guard. if hassan, justise, and J rich can all take the leap next year it's not gonna be as bad as people think. especially if CB can stay healthy.

It's not about telling him :camby: It's about him possibly wanting money that the team does not have

Honestly, I wouldn't care if Hassan kept his impact level that he is now. Hassan averaging about 32 minutes would probably be averaging 17 points, 14 rebounds, 1 assist, and 4-5 blocks which is pretty much among the best centers in the league.

I just want him to stay healthy, learn that he doesn't need to jump all the time, and learn some more skill oriented finishes because he already has elite touch around the rim.

Putting on too much weight makes me nervous because of his injury history in his lower body and how much he likes to jump.

Winslow is only 20. I'm not really expecting that "leap from him" yet. I'm expecting him to be all-star status around when he's 23-24. I just want him to be solid overall player and add new tricks. Be our Deng, a solid overall contributor and versatile player. Able to make a good offensive plays too.

I gotta say, We're in a worse cap situation than I originally thought.

We still need veteran backups for WhiteSide and Winslow AND Wade to sign. I guess we're hoping Weber can replace TJ as Dragic's backup. Our only hope is to find a taker on McRoberts

BTW I also think the Heat are gonna pressure Bosh to not play so they can use the exception since we get all his cap room back if he doesn't play by December
