Man was a real team player. Sucks we won't see him get to compete for real success, but he's earned that pay day with all the work he put in here and Chicago. I'm shocked he had anything left in the tank after thibs. Gonna miss him on the team.Deng to LA
He was only here for 2 years but one of my fav Heat players. He came on board when it looked the ship was sinking and helped keep us a float, never complained about his role, always 100% effort. Best of luck to him in LA, now the keys are turned over to Winslow

Damm was hoping we could keep Deng he was pretty solid for us
He earned that contract especially after Bosh went down
He looked like a whole new man without him stepping up after Bosh went down idk where the season would have went. He will be a big help to alot of those young guys in the locker room.

I have posted in Miami season threads on several occasions....I was one of the few offering tempered expectations on what I expected in the season and the playoffs.
I have mixed views on the job Riley has done......Maybe things work out for the Heat but to act like the things I have been reading in the news should automatically be seen as some grand master plan doesnt really make much sense to me
anyway....I can see anything but toeing the company line isnt really what yall want to hear so I'm out

Besides Durant and maybe Jamal Crawford i haven't hear any other realistic free agent heading are way. With the big money being handled out i wouldn't be surprised if we lose TJ. Lets hope Briante Weber can step up where TJ left off .

Wade is 34, Dragic is about to turn 30, Whiteside is talented but is prone to nagging injuries, and Deng was probably our defensive lynchpin who covered for our perimeter defense...Bosh's health is all kinds of fukked...
I dunno, brehs. I think I'm keeping my expectations low. Even if we get Wade back, I don't think this team looks ready for the grind of the regular season.

Ya'll know how many free agents are out there? Durant has to be the first domino to fall, then the 2nd and 3rd tier guys are going to start getting picked up in waves. We're probably going to match offers for TJ and I doubt Haslem goes anywhere

All I'm saying we don't have room for Durant. Because of the little money we have left, we shouldn't waste our time chasing Durant. We just need to retool and pay Wade his money. I don't have a problem with Hassan earning the max contract because he deserves it. He has proven that he is worth the money. However, we overpaid Bosh. I believe Pat could have kept Bosh if he had offered a similar deal that Houston was offering Bosh. I didn't have a problem with Dragic receiving the max because at that time he was one of the top point guard in the league, but he didn't give us a consistent effort in return.
