If Bosh isn't coming back, resigning Deng should be a priority along with Whiteside. I think Deng can be a great 4 in our future roster. He hasn't lost a step on his athleticism and doesn't slack on defense. All he needs to do is improve his shooting in the offseason. I don't think he is going to ask for a lot of money. Pat could give him a reasonable contract for him to stick around.

Bosh is fukking done. The heat doctors are not going to clear him, we're saddled with his contract. It is what it is, its not his fault. At best we can maybe get an injury exception that will give us some cap space.

If Bosh injury is deemed to be career ending, the Heat can apply for a medical exception that would allow them to wipe Bosh's 23.7 million salary off the books.

The problem is that they must wait a year to receive the exception the earliest being Feb 2017.

Whiteside is a max level talent but dude is injury prone.

Hip injuries, hand injuries, knee injuries, etc.

He gets nagging injuries pretty constantly while being a jump happy 7 footer. Locking him into a max contract is kinda scary to me but, without Bosh, we kinda need him.

I like Deng but that small ball 4 experiment got washed real quick. Unless he taking a discount. Same for JJ. Green couldnt get burn or dorell. I think haslem contract is up so put him in the front office.

Bosh situation is scary cause once it happened the 2nd time it was like breh really? 3rd time would just be heartbreaking so lets just assume he's done. His contract would be off the books next feb right?? Can we trade an injured contract?

Ryan anderson a free agent this summer right

Nah, it worked well with Whiteside was healthy because Whiteside is such a dominant rebounder (Unless Jonas is on the floor :francis:) but you need a rim protector for it to work

Brooklyn
We can start with a new coach tho:francis:
That's the first order of business. A coach who has a game plan and doesn't allow teams to get outscored by 19 in the fourth quarter of game 7 and doesn't sit his center all fourth quarter of a tight game and designs an offense more complex than my player/my park in NBA 2k would be glorious after the last 8 years. Second order of business: @Brooklynzson can you do us all a favor and ban playa with tha passport from this and any further heat threads? Guy was @Sausageman style spam trolling in our thread all season long.
