RIP MR. SMOKE
I think hassan has improved a lot passing out of the post. he's starting to hit the cutters a lot more. the team cracks jokes every time he gets an assist so he knows it's something he has to work on. I think more than anything he has to work on his post moves. he has great footwork and a great touch, but his post moves are limited. he does the same spin move hook shot, and opposing bigs started to catch on. he also needs to learn how to pump fake more. I think all of these things will be addressed this summer and he's gonna become a truly dominant force next year. It's not a matter of "keeping us up tempo" though.
We went in to the playoffs with one big man, the games we looked good we limited turnovers and crushed squads on the boards, both of those are out of Spo's hands for the most part. Once the other team gets back, Goran pulls out even if we're across half court fairly quickly. What he needs to do is bully smaller pgs more often, he did it a few games, but no where near enough.
I know we disagree about Hassan on offense, he's better than a Deandre, but I'm not dying on the hill of feed Hassan in the post and let him go to work..dude has made about 5 passes out of the post all season and more turnovers..
if hassan improves like I think he will, we're gonna become better no matter what. and if CB's health can be controlled, we can really be an elite team. a duo of CB and hassan is a nightmare for any team in the league. it's up to spo to make them complement eachother instead of clashing like they did last season. that front court is just too fukkin great to not make work.
