I don't think I will ever get over this
I hope that a couple years down the road they patch things up and he comes back and plays his final season here

I doubt it because they won't ever pay him what he is worth or for what he did for the franchise. Next time Wade will be in Miami is to retire his jersey and hopefully unveil a statue in front of the arena.

Man, someone get these onions outta here :mjcry:

Okay, okay, okay...enough with my sad sack bullshyt. Let's talk actual stuff.

I'd really like for us to take a chance on Christian Wood. He's a bit of knucklehead like Whiteside but he's also VERY talented. Dude has insane wing span and potential. SOMETHING like a 9-4 standing reach.

And The 76ers have a logjam in their bigs already so they might not even pay him any mind. Dude has been BEASTING in the SL and has shown the ability to hit 3s, poster dudes, block shots, etc.

He looking like the homeless man's version of a homeless man's Anthony Davis and this is the season where risky guys with a high upside are perfect fits.

I also wouldn't mind Javale McGee and Willie Reed on cheap contracts. Javale might not be such a chore if he's on the floor with Richsrdson and Winslow plus he can block shots. His defensive stupidity might not be TOO bad and our defensive scheme wouldn't have to change much to accommodate him when Whiteside sits.

I just thought of something, a few days ago I read a couple people speculating that the next CBA will give teams another amnesty clause. If Pat feels like that'll be the case, they may match TJ and have him for a good price for the next 2 years. Then, when it gets to years 3 and 4, if they feel he's not worth that money and they can't trade him, they can amnesty him and get out from that contract.
:yeshrug:

Did we match tj? Wasnt the deadline thursday?

man, reading those quotes and watching Wade's snapchat makes one thing crystal clear. He did not want to leave Miami. and he regrets all of this. especially with him saying he wished he another month to make the decision.

Javale ain't a hothead he's just dumb as rocks.

He can still go kick some rocks as far as I'm concerned tho
I like Javale but there's always been concerns about his maturity. Best case scenario he's another Gerald Green and keeps a low profile while here.
