I just thought of something, a few days ago I read a couple people speculating that the next CBA will give teams another amnesty clause. If Pat feels like that'll be the case, they may match TJ and have him for a good price for the next 2 years. Then, when it gets to years 3 and 4, if they feel he's not worth that money and they can't trade him, they can amnesty him and get out from that contract.

They were playing sounds from Wade's agent about the negotiations on Skolnick's show. The Heat offered the 2 year deal and told them to take it or leave it. Wade wanted more because of what he did for the franchise and the Heat did not budge. Real messed up. I thought they would take care of him. It would've been nice if they did.
