I dont know what happened since February when Wade said he wanted a quick resolution in FA to the end of the year when Riley was talking that noise about Wade's place in the franchise, but clearly both sides were a little too arrogant, and other people served as influences to get us here. It's not a comparison. When Wade was a 27 year old unrestricted FA the cap was no where near what it is now, the game has changed and the money has changed. Now Whiteside was the 27 year old unrestricted FA and he got exactly what he deserved
wish they tank this season. but with whitside, bosh, and dragic they would probably still be too good to get a top 5 pick
