Haha the Wu Mansion disc was the shyt fam..:I loved that shyt.

It's crazy how accurately RZA predicted that nikkas wouldn't truly understand what he and the Wu was on until the future. When I go back I realize that every Wu album up until this one was actually a movie expressed in musical form and Wu-Tang Forever was the final in the series that pulled together all the themes from the previous albums/films. When I figured this out my mind was blown. RZA was on some genius shyt. The whole time he was trying to get the world to raise their consciousness about how individuals, the hood, and politics intersect and determine how people live their lives, for better or worse, depending on the environment they were born into. True genius shyt.

Who else had the advanced CD Rom thing on disc 1 where u could go thru the Wu mansion??

Remember how annoying it was when u just wanted to hear the music but the clip for the wu mansion would pop up instead and u had to adjust to to get to the music part?

I didn't have a computer in 97 so never got to check this out :mjcry:

You'll have to break down how each album is like a movie

1 week before the album was suppose to drop me and my cousin saw the bootleg at the African Square Market in Harlem. We both went in our pockets and copped. I thought it was gonna be some bullshyt when I got home but it was the official release. I sat in the staircase of my cousins projects and listened to the whole album while smoking weed alone. For me, That was always the best way to digest an album for the first time.

:mjcry: the memories of being a teen in the 90s...

kanye, just etc owes a lot to rza and this song imo
Rza was so ahead of his time on this album, 20 years later and I haven't heard a project like it

Rematch scheduled on October Ninth

A fantastic duet with Rae and Ghost trading verses back and forth about attending the star-studded boxing match between Julio Caesar Chavez and Pernell “Sweet Pea” Whitaker on Sept. 10 1994 at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. They talk about the fight and just people watching in general (often just as interesting as the fight itself).

imagine they did a video for this :whoo:
