Agreed. The final season definitely felt rushed. I can't help but think on how much better the series would have been if they did at least one more season

The reason they ended with Season 3 is that with most television and streaming shows, after three seasons the actors contracts expire and many times if a show is at least semi successful then the actors agents negotiate higher pay days. Ashton Sanders, Shamiek Moore, Erika Alexander, and Dave East would probably command big time salaries and the other actors would want some kind of bump as well, not to mention The RZA, who created the series and writes and directs would want to renegotiate. And the other 8 living members are credited as Producers and would want to negotiate. So Hulu probably didn’t want to open the checkbook

As I said before ... we can't forget COVID took a year away from the show and production. Season 3 wouldve been Sept 2022 with season 4 sept 2023..

They lost about 9 months of production plus a lot of locations had sets have Vaccine restrictions..

Season 3 was a compromise and as such it was rushed.

RZA even said season 3 timelines were consolidated to fit into the final season.. We can be gla it was announced as the 3rd and final season so they knew from jump how to write it, instead of being cancelled on a cliffhanger

I actually waited to watch the final episode cause I didn’t want this to be over.

Man, Wutang played a MAJOR part in my life in my best years. This was special for me and I’m grateful to be able to witness this.

I would love to see these dudes take some of their best stories and animate them shyts and voice them. That would be epic.

Major props to Divine Rza Ghost and Power for creating monument that will last generations. Dudes was getting street money and was able to turn it into legal millions while the FBI was building a case on them and still skated. Legends.

When I was first exposed to the Wu as a kid the day Protect ya Neck premiered, never did I think they would ever get so big. There were so many hardcore groups around that time with low budget videos, I thought they would just come and go like so many others. Not that they weren't dope, but the talent in hip hop back then was second to none back then and not everybody made it.

I'm gonna miss this show.

It wasn't perfect at all, but it was entertaining and I'm glad they gave the lesser known wu members some shine individually. It was a shame seeing Inspectah Deck getting sidelined like he was some glorified extra when he's one of the top lyricists in the crew and should have had the fame and success like the others. Of course dude who played RZA doesn't look or sound like him which has been said a million times already and Meth's portrayal was disappointing to say the least. I thought they would have done a lot better with that.

Dude who played Raekwon absolutely NAILED it more than the other characters IMO.

There's certain Wu stories I was hoping to see but with so many members you can't cover everything understandably. Overall they did a good job for what they had to work with and the budget. I still think Rae's idea of a Wu movie would have been great. It's a lot of material to cover, but fukk it. If they can do a 3 and a half hour movie about a bunch of boring ass blue aliens, the time would fly watching Wu on screen.

Overall, I'll give it a 7.5/10.

You know what. Just figured out what the spinoff should be based off this post. Tales from the Wu. Kind of like a tales from the tour bus type of joint. Each episode can address a story of two that have been passed around over time. Imagine an episode acting out Ghost burying the KFC lol. Or Dirty at the Grammys. Or Rza or whoever getting their chain snatched and Pac getting it back or whatever happened with that.

Low key all these decades and I never noticed an impediment…🧐🧐🧐

I always did…. That verse in that song 4th Chambers is one of my all time fav Rza verses and it’s so apparent.

But I also thought his impediment gave his verses some charm.

I always think it was cuz he rapped with them Fangs too
