shyt is the worst...I've learned in life sometimes it's best to do business w/ strangers rather than your friends or even family. Strangers don't drag your friendship/relationship as family into the business
I learned that the hard way along with a related jewel: This is America. If it's not on paper it's not real.

Ghostface dumping out the whip with Delfonics sitting there will never not be funny :mjlol:

Based on how he told the story on DC, I assumed people were shooting back though.
Yeah, they shot first, Ghost shot back. Then he shot at them again weeks later because he was angry they shot at him while he had the Delfonics in the car.

Yea...I wanted more indepth around the albums but I can see that getting played out doing it for 4 albums. I'm glad they skipped over Tical b/c that's the weakest solo imho.

Glad we got to see Ironman being made rather than a story.

Is it true that Assassination Day was a 'bridge' to Forever? I looked on whosampled and there's no samples listed other than the movie intro. So maybe so, it def sounds more like Forever.

After The Smoke Clears is probably my favorite song on the albums so it was dope to see that...did Ghost really have a shootout w/ The Delfonics in his car??? :russ:...
Assassination day me and my boy always talked about being the lead in to forever. The start of rza non sampling stuff starts on ironman.

Its a inspectah deck song, ghost aint on it. I always saw ironman as like a wu mixtape featuring ghost.

But it wasn't an investment, and that's my point. You can help someone out, without expecting something back. Giving him money to help his company off ground isn't necessarily an investment, or even a loan....UNLESS it's stated before hand.
So lets get this rught

Power puts in money into them, he gets his cut of pie off them.

Then when they trying to make wuwear bigger

They invest, but dont even get their investment back? Let alone a cut like he gets.

Nothing about that makes any sense.

Power stole other money from rae so its not just that. They seperated in 2001.

You can tell power hurt rae cause he barely even acknowledges him in the book. Brings him up as like a casual business partner and nothing on them coming up. Not until they broke up is he even mentioned in the book, in 2001. even tho they were partners for years.

The didnt really care about Wu Wear like that... that was Power's hustle. You saw how Divine didnt even wanna give him the start-up money.

But they gave money without establishing ant paybacks.. that's their fault..

But if Wu Wear was in the red, they cant get their investment back

:russ: :russ: :russ: Breh I see that after reading the pages before mine...wtf...is there any more detail besides that clip from Drink Champs?

Here he says he shot first.

I'm starting episode 6 of this season now and i had to pause to say: it's really dope how they're experimenting with these concept episodes. they definitely took notes from Atlanta.

One of the best episodes of the show.

Funny thing is the shootout when he was with the Delfonics was even crazier in real life than what they portrayed here. :russ: I remember when he spoke on it in some magazine interview years ago way before Drink Champs. I didn't know whether it was ducktales or not but it was funny the way he described it even then. In the show they made it seem like the Delfonics were disappointed with him when they were actually riders lol.

I think thats because its on of his regrets that he can not make up.. He apologized to them countless times... I think showing him "off" in the show and them disappointed is his way of saying sorry again.
