I've had this Ruckus song on repeat. The little intricacies, and beat switches in it are amazing. Like someone said earlier...it almost plays out like a Wu-Tang musical. Not sure how big a part Rick Rubin played in generating this but props to RZA because this is great. I do know Rubin requested Dirty on here and that was a terrific idea because Dirty's voice brings so much energy and nostalgia to the track that takes it to another level. Best Wu group track in a LONG ass time. Even better than Six Directions of Boxing and Rivers of Blood off the Iron Fist OST, and I'm a big fan of both.

:smh: and then yall shyt on Kanye for "overproducing" on MBDTF.

Word. That didn't sound good. Seems like all songs have a similar feel unfortunately. Hype deflating.

I wouldn't mind the singing if it was gritty, soulful singing with well written notes, like they used to have, but it's not. Its some soft ass dude sounding corny with sh!t like "whatever the weather, we'll be gettin that chedda" :scust: and "I miss my wife and kids...Ooo Oooo":snoop:
That sh!t is killing some of these tracks, man.

You nailed it. Rza should've just sampled hooks. Or gone for the Grits/Bobby Diggy stuff. Thanks for your work in this thread though.

Turns out my girl bought me this speaker thing for Xmas and just have it to me early and I must say the speaker is dope as fukk but the exclusive wu tracks are just mediocre as fukk. I can definitely now see the direction this album is going in and it'll be a cool listen but I'm disappointed that this might be it or very least I'll get to wait 7 more years for another one.

Hate to say it but RZA as an actual composer is decent but that production spark he had that made him who he is today is completely gone
