this movie was basically the popular girl vs. the awkward girl told from the point of view from the awkward girl, and while the popular girl was pretty and had grace, that doesn't mean she was stupid, it just meant she wasn't going to write think pieces or throw a hissy fit over every fukking thing
It was OK. Had a lot of potential, but I think they punked out and made Maleficient too sympathetic. One day we may get a truly wicked female villain, but I doubt Disney will be involved.
