the slumber part sounds like snow white.. but i don't see any prince charming or any dwarfs... and i thought it was an apple and not a finger prick

I'm still gonna watch it. I'm enjoying Disney doing these live-action remakes of their classic animated movies.

Sounds like some nitpicking...It looks like a 7.5/10 movie

it was ok i give it a C.. she was awesome..but what pisses me off was the fact that it was a "re-telling". maleficient and aurora were basically bffs and they gave Maleficient a big heart

i hate retellings..its why i despise the Noah movie from earlier this year.. shoulda been directly a prequel to the sleeping beauty flick

Saw this with my girl this weekend. Not a bad movie at all. About a 7.5 out of 10 for me as well. Was different from the story we remembered it and a lil cliche, but still good overall. Loved the effects and visuals. Jolie killed the role. I wished they would have spent less time with Aurora and did more with just Maleficient's back story.

The movie was good when it allowed Maleficent to be bad but they spent too much time softening the character, I have no idea what the fukk Sharlto Copley was doing in this movie and the other Fanning sister was terrible as Aurora.
