There are dozens of studies that determined that Covid is not seasonal. The only reason it peaked in the winter in Europe is that there were lockdowns in spring that brought down the numbers, which were then lifted to soon to send people on summer vacations. They went to southern Europe mingled with people from all over the world and brought the virus back home. Then warnings were ignored in autumn that numbers were rising again and no measures were taken until it was too late. Winter lockdowns again brought down the numbers, but at the moment numbers are rising again in countries like France or Germany, even though it is warmer than in january. The only seasonal effect on Covid is that people spend more time indoors, which increases the likelyhood of airborne transmissions.It peaks in the winter and troughs in summer months. Literally low incidences in warm climates in Africa.

You also had large outbreaks in Iran and Israel last summer and Spain was heavily affected in autumn, when the climate there is still warm and dry.
