NJ/NY is one of the busiest airspaces in the U.S , people didn't suddenly wake up not knowing what a plane looks or sounds like.

Is it possible they are just testing drones before an American company goes live with hundreds of similiar drones. Maybe for delivery, weather, traffic reports and shyt. This is just beta testing and the public isn't allowed to know what company it is because it's all confidential information at this point? Or possibly government drones?

But a lot of the videos being posted now are verifiable commercial planes and US gov helicopters.

It’s 1000% our since they got lights, if they turned out the lights it wouldn’t even be talked about because nobody would know…As somebody who work in the drone field we never conduct real ops with lights on, we only do that during training missions…Obviously they doing some type of testing on and capabilities on civilian areas..
