This is social media at its worst and why I dont mind some of these platforms getting banned.
Before social media I assume people like this just stood on the corner and yelled crazy shyt like "The lizard people are coming!!!" and people ignored them. Everything was cool.
Now those same type of people hop on social media and get thousands of people to be like....
"A broke comedian found a parallel dimension where time runs backwards?!??!"

I think it's a public demonstration of power. It's a way to flex on other nations - especially China.
China has been doing these drone shows with hundreds of drones. USA's response? Put out high tech drones that don't even seem like drones - tech so advanced it seems otherworldy. It's a way to say,"Oh yeah? That's all you got?" That's why the feds aren't freaking out and why it's over US bases. They arrested a Chinese spy over doing recon on a US base. The US military industrial complex is taking its proverbial dikk out and twirling it like a helicopter in front of China and Russia and saying,"you can't fukk with the gawd. You want to know what we got? Have at it, small dikked losers."
Since they don't want to do a hot war, they're doing cold war like demonstration of power tactics while playing dumb.
China been doing stuff like this. Obviously these are fun for the citizens but they're also ways to stunt.
America is doing its own type of stunting here and basically,"light shows are gay. Watch this."

Let me preface this by saying that I don't believe this is aliens. I think aliens exist and I have a story from 1998, but that's for another time. This ain't aliens.
What's pissing me off about it is that the government would rather risk their dumb ass citizens (and the last 18 years have proven just how dumb this population is) devolving into mass panic and a potential gun situation instead of doing the goofy light shows like China to flex their power.
Unless the panic is the point.

The panic is the point because even our own citizens don't know we have that level of capability. This is why there's two different type of drones: current generation and next generation. They're showing off the next generations capabilities by having them go against current gen drones.

Correct.
Think of it like the Cold War. Most of us are young. Not truly old. We didn't live through the Cold War so we aren't used to Cold War like stunting tactics. USA and Russia would stunt on each other all the time and show what new tech they had. USA is doing that here. It's a return to Cold War tactics and because most of us never experienced that because we are too young it's freaking us out. I noticed no one old gives a shyt.
