As more news comes out, I'm surprised my head hasn't actually exploded brehs.
Either both pilots were in on it, or one had to have incapacitated the other (plus the entire cabin crew to boot as I'm sure they would haven noticed something ie: pax for example.) Unless the entire group was in on it I would expect them to attempt to contact someone on the outside once realizing they were completely off course.
If hijacked by others (non-crew), then either it was done way beforehand, and the "all right, good night" which was last communicated, was forced onto the pilot (or maybe someone else said it completely), or they have the best timing in the world and shut off ACARS/transponder and took over the plan inbetween that 1:07-1:21 stretch before literally falling off the grid.
The Pilot and/or First Officer *does* seem the most realistic, but if that's the case I'm beyond curious as to what the end game here was, if it wasn't suicide? Landing it somewhere remote.............. and then what? Live some lavish lifestyle on the beach with 227 new friends? Traffic them?
Whether they did it or not am I the only one bothered by the constant focus on the Flight Simulator he had built? Is it that big a deal about him having it? He's a pilot, why is that surprising, lol; however, I am curious to see what they pull from it though (ie: if he ran this course as a test run or not.)
shyt is crazy and unprecedented beyond belief brehs
