@ the knowledge being dropped in this thread.
The powers that be found ways to play our people against one another and intentionally promote artists who would water down our entertainment (black music, movies, television, dancing, comedy, etc) and present very warped, negative distortions of it.
They're purposely going out of their way to promote all of this negativity (thugging, killing our own people, having oow kids, drug use/distribution, being uneducated, ratchetness, twerking,) and play it up as cool because they don't want us thinking too much.
Very few of us actually own anything
Couple these indoctrination methods with the systematic destruction of the family unit through second/third wave feminism and we're left with a sorry generation with no leadership or guidance to look to, unfit to lead black people to a better place.
What hurts the most is that too many of us either don't care or don't know enough to be able to help ourselves unite and pick ourselves back up as a people.
We're being killed from the inside and outside at the same time, brehs![]()
Gay nikkas probably dancing. Just a lot of ****ery. I stopped watching it with Shemar Moore when it was getting
For Soul Train to work, it needs good music and right now, the industry is terrible.
Think about this. People will talk with friends 20 years from now and say, do you remember when Elton John, Earth, Wind and Fire, Keith Sweat, Michael Jackson came to Soul Train. Who today is that good for anyone to remember. That was the main reason it died in the first place. No transcendent talent.
It's sad to admit, but you're right breh.
The quality of black music today is, and Soul Train wouldn't be worth watching if were to be brought back.
There are people out there who can tell us about their fondest, most magical memories of their lives when they were there to see live performances from James Brown, Earth Wind and Fire, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Maze ft. Frankie Beverly, P Funk, Prince, Michael Jackson, etc...
20 years from now, people are going to be ashamed to tell their grandkids they've even heard of 2chainz, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, or Nicki Minaj.

*remembers when The WB was damn near a black station*
Them cacs saw us taking their bland culture from them and turned that shyt Off!
Dude was fukking hilarious on Smart Guy. I don't why The WB did not give Marcus and Moe a spin off after the final season of Smart Guy. shyt would have been GOAT.
Nothing is really the same anymore.
But if we didnt watch the love & hiphop crap they would be off the air. And for the white man cancelling those shows, Why would they mess up their money? Thats like the white record execs trying to kill rap.Black television has been killed in favor of white crap. Plain and simple. Blacks were dominating and had great shows for families, good shows for laughs, etc. Whites weren't having that, so unless we are doing immoral shyt or anything else deemed degenerative, its not going to be on tv
He could play the serious roles well too.
This was my shyt before Roger Goddell's hoe ass forced ESPN to close shop

Breh, if you are a black female and homosexual you are winning in these modern times with those tv shows
These shows are mostly about women getting divorced, getting divorced is the new family lesson in the 00's. Learn from it so you can save yourself money and embarrassment from messing with these worthless hoes. That is the greatest family lesson you could learn in these modern times.
