Lil' Wayne gave him the biggest alley oop you could possibly get at a time when people still cared about Wayne, and all Gunz did was parlay that into a reality show that basically gave his dad a better platform

If I remember correctly Wayne kinda hated on him. When Amilli first dropped in 2008 on the radio, it was Wayne and Cory going back & forth and Cory was smoking Wayne’s boots.



Then the next month the video dropped and it was a half-decent Wayne only version. Lil wayne realized he messed up Cory’s chance and felt bad later on and that’s how we got “6 Foot, 7 Foot” which wasn’t as good.
