I hate when nikkas act like rapping about violence is positive, just cause you not committing violence.
Nah my nikka thats negative too.
exactly what my issue is with these guys

They claim that they are just reporting whats going on in the streets but thats not it....reporting whats going on in the streets like a journalist would be songs like this

it gives you an insight into the community without you being part of it..it doesnt glorify what is happening in there and you dont aspire to be in that situation

what these guys do are completely opposite..they glorify it and tell you that because their environment are shyt , that makes them cooler than you.. They have higher murder rate than the place that you come from...YOU should be ashamed of not living like us...we live the real life..you not so much

what messgae does this send to the naive kids?? You better start turning up like us if you want to be as cool as us..you better start shooting guns or robbing people or murdering people to be on our level..other wise you're a lame.

Its not reporting anymore but more so propagating ignorance for ignorance sake.

Somehow they dont get it.

Yeah these rappers come from negative environment but do you really have to spread t hat ignorance and relish in that ignorance?? no. ...When ignorance becomes the definition of "cool" , we are in a bad place

watching this shyt makes me wonder why GBE and em didn't let lil durk be the front man since he seems to be the smartest and have the most charisma on camera.

Cause Chief Keef put all them nikkas in their position. He got all them Chicago nikkas motivated

keef didn't put them on. he was just the lucky one that kanye chose to do a remix for.

Lil Durk said it himself. Keef was the only one taking it serious, he got the deal first. Once everybody saw what him and Chop was doin they did what they had to do.

yes you can grow up in an environment and report it/rap about it from a perspective that is objective..not like you really enjoy it the way it is...

watch the video and you can hear them say how its actaully fun and they enjoy it.. it doesnt make me feel sorry for them in a lot of ways...i pray they dont move in next door to me.

Where as in the brother ali form , you feel sorry that faheem or whoever is talking abou,t lives in that environment.

THere are many other black rappers that know how to do so. I could only think of brother ali's song at the moment.

name a few that was out there hard and talk bout it from a 3person point of view, nas is one of the greatest rappers ever, but dude was never out there like say a jungle(his brother), when u living that life hard still thats what u gon rap about

i never said feel sorry for them, and yea they believe its fun cause that what they grew up to, they seen they mama, daddies, uncles cousins and brothers live, i know u here in this doc they say they grew up wanting to be like they pops, dirk and his brother both grew up like that, they daddy was a bd leader and thats what they grew up wanting to be, if they know no other way it will be fun to them

and i said above i dont think they looking for your sympathy or for you to feel sorry for them, this life for them from a first person perspective raw and uncut

anyway i dont think u from that type of environment so i dont think u will understand
