They did eliminate it, or at least where I'm from because they never made us learn cursive

Its so important to keep in the habit of handwriting, especially if you're a student. Memory retention is far superior when you physically write out your study notes instead of just typing them. What i like to do is handwrite my notes first to help retain it, then later digitise my notes so I can have the flexibility and all the advantages of word documents and pdfs.
As for cursive I learned it a bit but never really liked it too much. It has affected my handwriting a little bit though. I always join up certain letters like t, a and y together, a and g together, c and d, e and f, even though I print everything else

All the other kids got it and I kept asking for help and that racist bytch legit ignored me. After summer break we ain’t even do that anymore she just assumed everyone was writing in cursive.
Same shyt with my multiplication tables too, everyone else got it and I got zero help and fell behind. That whole system failing young black boys around 3rd-4th grade shyt is true as hell. If I ain’t have a computer I’d prolly be in jail right now.

Parents of a third grader weren’t in a position to learn and reinforce(or perhaps negate) lessons being taught by racist teachers? Interesting.
There was a story here about a 12th grader who was pushed through school, his mom too acted like it was out of her control.
